- In this chapter Nathan talks about how him and the boys did and acted the way that they did because of "superfly"
- "Superfly" was a movie that had come out from a a man who became a drug dealer because of the fact that he didn't want to work for white men anymore.
- Nathans boy Shell Shock dealt with drugs, but then he didn't want to get involved with that but just stick to what he normally did.
